Synopsis
In the suffocating heat of the Texas summer, Izzy, Liam, Maya, Chloe, and Ben arrive at a remote, dilapidated lake house seeking a weekend of escape. The air is thick with the stench of decay and the oppressive silence of the woods — a sensory warning they realise too late.
Their discovery of a hidden dungeon — a ritualistic charnel house filled with the skeletal trophies of a serial killer named Moby — shatters their reality, transforming a simple getaway into a desperate fight for survival.
The relief of finding Moby dead is fleeting. From the shadows of her father’s legacy emerges Kitty — his daughter, a broken vessel of his grooming — armed with his axe and tomahawk, initiating a sadistic hunt through dark woods and narrow hallways.
At the centre of it all is Izzy, a wrestler stripped of her forced cheerfulness, pushed to her absolute limit in a harrowing basement confrontation where the line between predator and prey blurs. In the aftermath, survivors face severe PTSD, a high-profile legal battle, and the haunting mystery of an abandoned infant discovered in the carnage.
The Houston Axe Murderers is a dark exploration of how trauma is inherited, processed, and ultimately survived.
